Nano Banana Prompts FAQ

How to find, use and customize Nano Banana Pro prompts.

1

What are Nano Banana prompts?

Nano Banana prompts are text instructions for Google’s Nano Banana image models, including Nano Banana Pro. A good prompt describes the subject, style, lighting, composition and any text to render, so the model produces a specific image instead of a generic one. This library collects ready-to-use prompts with an example image for each.

2

How do I use a prompt from this library?

Click any image to open the full prompt. Then either copy it, or click “Use This Prompt” to open our Nano Banana Pro generator with the prompt and model already filled in. Edit the details you want to change and generate.

4

Why do some prompts need my photo?

Prompts marked “Needs your photo” edit or transform an image you upload, such as turning a selfie into a professional headshot, swapping a background or restoring an old photo. Upload the photo first, then generate. Prompts without the mark create an image from text alone.

5

How do I customize a prompt for my own image?

Keep the structure of the prompt and replace only the parts that describe your subject: the person, product, text, colors or setting. Change one thing at a time so you can see what each edit does. If a prompt contains text in quotation marks, replace it with the text you want to appear in your image.

6

How do I write a good Nano Banana Pro prompt?

Write full sentences rather than keyword lists. Name the subject first, then the style (photo, 3D render, illustration), camera and lighting, composition, and finally details like text or aspect ratio. For edits, say what to change and what to keep unchanged, for example “keep the face and pose, replace the background with a beach at sunset”.

7

Do these prompts work with other Nano Banana models?

These prompts are collected from Nano Banana community examples. Most also work on Nano Banana 2 and the original Nano Banana, but results can differ, especially for small text, fine detail and complex layouts. You can switch models in the generator and compare.

How often are new prompts added?

We add new prompts regularly, with a focus on popular uses such as portraits and avatars, product photos, social media posts and posters. Each entry is reviewed before it is published.
